Well, we've had Jude and Soulman (was Foss, now Soulman again!!) for over two weeks and I feel I can post in the 'Success Stories' forum without tempting fate now
They boys are wonderful They have settled in so well and are a joy to have around. Well, they do make moving through the house quite difficult as they insist in walking and circling in front of you; I am accompanied everywhere, but aside from that, they are a joy to have around They got on well with our other dogs right from the outset and have settled into the routine as though they'd been here for years. We are starting to see their personalities now and they are actually quite different to each other. Jude is so laid back he is horizontal, but Soulman is a little more intense. Soul loves his squeaky toys, but gets into quite a frenzy with them. So much so that I can't see me ever trusting him enough to walk out without the muzzle - apart from photo shoots and raspberry picking. We chanced upon a hedgehog the other night and I'm pretty sure it would have been an ex-hedgehog had he not been wearing a muzzle. He was so quick!!!! Jude loves his walks and jumps about like a puppy when I get the lead out. Soulman is somewhat less enthused. They are brilliant on the leads - no pulling, but if they get the lead between their legs (as often happens) they stop; simply cannot move as tied up: "Mum, help!" Pathetic. They are fine around the horses. They come with me first thing every morning up to the field and I can tie them to the fence if I need both hands for anything. They both wait patiently 'til I come back We have some raspberry bushes at the edge of the field and I shared some with the dogs yesterday. They both loved them, but Soulman wanted to pick his own....
oh my god lookit Soulman eating those rasps. I cant imagine any of mine eating a raspberry never mind picking their own. This is lovely, a lovely update happy happy dogs

Lovely update! Sounds like these boys have well & truly settled in now. Just love the raspberry picking vid - Max used to do this too, & blackberries, & the strawberries & tomatoes we used to grow... you get the picture!
